A clearer plan for your injury.
Explore how assessment and rehabilitation can be approached for common sports injuries. These guides explain the questions to ask and the factors that may shape your care in Toronto or Oakville.
Start with an assessment
Similar symptoms can have different causes. Your history and examination help establish a working diagnosis, identify whether further investigation is needed and determine which activities are appropriate while you recover.
Build capacity for your activity
A rehabilitation plan considers what you can currently tolerate and what your sport or daily activity requires. The emphasis may change from symptom management and movement to strength, power, conditioning and sport-specific practice.
Care that connects
With your permission, Dr. Rees can communicate with other members of your care team. Surgical instructions, medical advice and the requirements of your sport are considered when planning progressions.
